Über mich
In school, I quickly became noticeably dissatisfied with the learning and development opportunities available to me. This sparked a deep desire to create better possibilities for others. As I progressed through my studies, teacher training, and early jobs, my frustration with the limitations of conventional systems only grew. This led me to search for alternatives—both within myself and in the world around me. On this journey, I have gained experience and skills through various training programs in educational fields such as theater, experiential learning, nature education, and music pedagogy. Through self-study, I have also immersed myself in bodywork (yoga, fitness, gymnastics, dance), meditation, mindfulness, ritual work, and various therapeutic healing approaches (including Gestalt therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, and systemic constellations). I travel to learning and development spaces around the world, exploring what it truly means to be human. In the spring of 2020, the handpan entered my life—and it hasn’t left my side since. I play solo, in band projects (see Carlotolo on YouTube), at private events, and as a street musician. I have also developed a series of workshops on the instrument (link to music workshops). Since leaving the civil service in 2020, I have been shaping my life with increasing freedom, independence, and self-determination. I fill my days with activities I genuinely love while maintaining financial security and abundance—mastering the art of living as a true Lebenskünstler (life artist).
